Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Baseball AI Tools ("we," "us," "the Site") collects when you use the site, how it's used, and who it's shared with. By creating an account you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Information we collect
- Account information: the email address and password you provide when registering. Passwords are stored as salted hashes — we never store or have access to your plaintext password.
- Payment information: if you purchase a Season Pass or Playoff Pass, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — Stripe shares back only a customer/transaction reference and the plan you purchased.
- Usage data: standard server logs (timestamps, IP address, requested pages) generated by normal web hosting (Vercel) and error monitoring, kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the Site.
- Session data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. This is required for the Site to function and isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
How we use it
Solely to operate the Site: authenticate you, determine what content your account is entitled to see (free vs. paid), process payments, respond to support requests, and maintain basic security and reliability. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Third-party services
The Site relies on a small number of third-party services to function, each of which processes limited data as described:
- Stripe — payment processing (see Stripe's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data).
- Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure.
- Neon — database hosting for account and pick data.
- MLB Stats API, Open-Meteo, The Odds API — public sports/weather/odds data sources used to generate picks. These do not receive any of your personal information.
Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated personal data deleted, contact us (below) and we'll process the request, subject to any records we're legally required to retain (e.g. transaction records for tax/accounting purposes).
Your choices
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, or request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18. See our Terms of Use for the Site's age requirement.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. If you have an account, continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the update.
